Shaylynn Postma is a research associate with the Texas Water Resources Institute. She participates in surface water quality monitoring efforts for waterbodies throughout Texas and supports various watershed protection, management, and research projects to address statewide water-related issues.
Lucas Gregory
Lucas Gregory, Ph.D., currently serves as associate director of research – physical sciences for the Texas Water Resources Institute. In this role, he develops effective and efficient research projects and provides stakeholder leadership for developing local plans to restore water quality.
Nicole Powers
Nicole Powers, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Her research primarily focuses on bridging the gap between human and environmental health, and includes projects related to historical water quality, antibiotic resistance, and bacterial source tracking in recreational water bodies.
Anna Gitter
Anna Gitter, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. Her current research includes water resources management for public health, human health risk modeling, and wastewater epidemiology. Prior to UTHealth Houston, she worked as a Research Specialist for the Texas Water Resources Institute leading water quality projects.
